this weekend could not be more beautiful . . . 

these last few weeks have been horrible. i have not been sick in essentially 5 years. no colds, no flus, nothing - until ohhh 2ish weeks ago. i thought i had strained my voice from talking over the music at the high school dance and then screaming on rides at canada's wonderland . . . but when my nose started to run, my sinuses started to ache and my temperature rose up to a nice fever - i had to accept the fact that i was actually sick. with everything aching and my head pounding i hardly noticed that i wasn't able to breathe. i kept squirmming around and trying to get myself comfortable but my chest was heavy and no matter what i did, nothing would change the fact that air was simply not travelling to my lungs. eventually i realized and accepted that at age 26 . . . i was experiencing a long-missed? traditional asthma attack. fortunately, i made it to the hospital in time and all airways became a go! now . . . after a few days of rest i'm ready to be thankful.

i am thankful for . . . water

 i am sure one would expect me to say family, friends, freedom and food but of all things belonging to this world, i appreciate and enjoy water most!

hydration - period
flavour - clean & clear straight from the tap orrrrr mix with fine beans & leaves and voila! - coffee & ice-tea mmmmm!
sanitation - hot showers & baths
beauty - lakes, oceans, rivers, bays, waterfalls etc.
sounds - rain, waves, splashes etc.
pleasure - swimming, recreation, relaxing hot-tubs . . . *sigh*

i want: 

someone who loves to hold hands, hug and squeeze me, to cuddle and link arms . . . to think of any excuse to just touch me. 

someone who doesn’t lose interest in the playful delight of simply making out - ever. 

someone who will pick me up . . . literally . . . maybe give me a piggy-back. 

someone who will be crazy and weird and won't be worried about what others think all the time. 

someone who will wear ridiculous hats or sunnies and play along with any fashion theme i care to partake in. 

someone who will sing to me or with me . . . whether it’s karaoke in front of anyone or no one regardless to how bad we may sound and especially in the car to our favourite songs or even our least favourite songs. 

someone who will puzzle with me . . . play word games with me and agree that tennis and tetris are the hottest high-tech video games. 

i want someone who isn't jealous, but is just a little . . . 

someone who will challenge me intellectually. 

someone who is witty, can banter and joke. 

someone who likes to go for walks . . . especially in the rain, the snow and always in the autumn. 

someone with an amazing smile . . . a smirk if you will. 

someone who will dance . . . who will want to slow dance with me when a fast song is playing and invent new dances for challenging dance-off’s whereby i will always win. 

someone who will text message me for no reason at all. 

someone who will write me . . . e-mails, lyrics, notes and letters. 

someone who will embarrass me - but always in a good way. 

someone who will treat me like a princess . . . sometimes! 

someone who will fight with me for the sake of play fighting whether it be physical or verbal - then kiss me. 

someone who likes rollercoasters, waterslides, swings and essentially all other rides. 

someone who likes to swim. 

someone who will play with me in the park. 

someone who will surprise me. 

someone who will tell me secrets. 

someone who will pick me fresh flowers from someone else’s garden. 

someone who will call me a geek but secretly believe i am cool. 

someone who will let me fall asleep in their arms, on the couch, in the car or wherever . . . 

someone who will call me names - good or bad - just not sappy. 

someone who will just hang out with me . . . listen to music, talk and lay on floor. 

someone who will play “questions”. 

someone who will teach me something. 

someone who will mix me a cd. 

someone who will buy me ice-cream and then let me lick their cone as well. 

someone who will get drunk with me . . . on dirty martini's, red wine and tequila but always appreciate a good beer or mixed drink errr concocktion!

someone who will tell me when they have fallen for me. 

i want someone who can do all this without having to read all this to know that these are the things i like and want.

an update . . . could it be?

a miracle for sure. ahhh glendale is over. i love that i have 2 months off but gawd i must be a loser because i will seriously miss my kids. i had to say a thank you / end of the year farewell speech to the staff on thursday morning over breakfast (yes we get paid for such hard work) and i was like hmmmm well thank you for hiring me and essentially paying me to do what i love most in this world - playing! all the other new teachers like me were oh so professional and thanked individual staff memebers and departments and i thanked the profession of teaching and teenagers for keeping me so entertained!  please though . . . if someone can tell me of one other job where you only "work" for 3 hrs and 45 mins a day playing such games as 'do you love your neighbour' then tell me and i'll gladly switch careers 'cause right now i am sad that i'm done *tear*

in other news . . . oh wait that's right i hardly have any news seeing as my whole life has revolved around my school and students this shall be quick.

i purchsed my new vehicle finally. after the window cracked and i broke down on my way to the performance exams i decided that it was time to give up on the lumina . . . good thing i had done all my research and knew exactly the vehicle i wanted!!! so clever me wheeled (pun intended) and dealed my way into a brand new 2006 escape!  oh gosh i am in love - truly, madly, deeply in love *sigh* anyone please feel free to burn me cd's as i no longer have a cassette deck but rather a 6 cd changer.

uhm it is my ambiguos tennis partner's birthday today . . . happy birthday gary!!! don't step in the . . . poo! oh i hope the sundridge parade and fireworks are as extensive as ever. are the eh-team playing the cas-bar?

okay . . . if that's really not all that is new in my world go ahead and tell me i left something out!
